Water and Science Museum
The Water and Science Museum aims to encourage public curiosity and provide scientific knowledge in a fun way.
Inaugurated in December 1996, the Murcia Water and Science Museum aims to foster curiosity and bring scientific knowledge closer to the public in a fun and participatory way, with the conviction that scientific dissemination contributes significantly to democracy in society and a more active participation in decision-making that shapes our future.
The Water and Science Museum has shown, since its origins, a willingness to collaborate with other institutions and associations that share the objective of scientific dissemination. From this perspective we have highlighted the value of some very interesting scientific collections. In the first temporary exhibition held in December 1996 and entitled 'Those old machines', showed an important collection of instruments for the teaching of science housed at the Alfonso X el Sabio Institute, shedding light on this important and forgotten collection.
